WstSdMrkt. Who are we? Nobody very important, though what we make just may be. Two misfits who stayed that way long enough for it to pay off, waiting for everything to come full circle, and it always does. With that in mind we return to the influences that we grew up together with, the things we loved and then let go, only to find ourselves longing for once life ceased to be so simple. A name that pays tribute to where we were raised, the West, and a name that everyone can relate to, there is a West Side of every town and city, and probably a West Side Market. The South Bay to Oakland, out to the Central Valley, and back to the Bay, we’ve been working. Shaped by the same avalanche of media that our entire generation has had to adapt to, we try to turn it around and reshape it for ourselves. Hip-hop, rock, cartoons and Hollywood. What are two grown up kids with media-drenched brains supposed to do? Reflect it back. Our styles change as life does, constantly shifting but always fresh.

WstSdMrkt started years ago, also a shifting concept. Projects came and went, we changed our minds, and our minds were forced to change, but something permanent has to appear sometime, and now is that time. For the last two years we have been dropping small runs in local shops and out of cardboard boxes, always to a happy customer. So welcome to WstSdMrkt, the ideal imaginary corner store, where we’ve got exactly what you need, and everything is always fresh.
